Internal error: Change number was not transferred

What causes this issue?

When a new change status was created for a dependent process object,
the change number was not transferred.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Procedure for System Administrators

When a new change status is created for a dependent process object, the
AENNR field must be filled in the XS_PNPOB changing structure of the
CL_PPELIPOB_CNTL=>PNPOB_MAINT method. Check your settings.
