Production version not found

What causes this issue?

The system cannot find a production version with the data you entered.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check and correct your entries. Check especially whether the production
version is valid on the defined posting date.
A production version must exist for a reporting point backflush in
particular.
