Date intervals have been modified and new intervals are not continuous

What causes this issue?

Date intervals have been modified and one of the newly calculated
intervals' validity from date would be later then the interval's already
specified validity to date.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Correct the preceding or the current interval 's validity to date .
