Field selection string not maintained for variant &1 group &2

What causes this issue?

You tried to create a document without having defined a field status
definition. You use a field status definition to define which fields
are ready for input, require input or are hidden during the entry of
documents in Funds Management.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
