What causes this issue?

The definition for the BP relationship category/role definition
category stipulates that a BP relationship/role definition only exists
once from the start date assigned by a user to the end date.
The BP relationship/role definition already exists in the system. You
cannot create an additional validity interval.
The BP relationship category/role definition category may have had a
different time constraint category previously, creating multiple
validity intervals.

definition has only one interval.
