There are no items in the notification. 8D report cannot be created

What causes this issue?

You tried to create an 8D report. An 8D report always relates to a
defect item. Since the notification does not contain any defect items,
you cannot create the 8D report.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

First describe the defect that has been identified in a defect item.
