Confirmation for characteristic & not allowed in view of inspLot status

What causes this issue?

You want to confirm results for an inspection characteristic. This is
not possible in view of the processing status of the associated
inspection lot.
This could be the case if:
a usage decision was made for the inspection lot.
a long-term inspection was activated for the inspection lot, but the
inspection characteristic is not a long-term characteristic.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
