What causes this issue?

You started a multi-level signature process.

System Response

Characteristics are only closed once all required signatories have
signed.

How to fix this error?

You can only close the characteristic by using the transaction that
continues the signature process. To do this, select: <LS>Logistics</>
-> <LS>Quality Management</> -> <LS>Quality Inspection</> -> <LS>
Worklist</> -> <LS>Signature Process</>.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
