Inspection characteristic must be saved before it can be processed

What causes this issue?

You have created an additional inspection characteristic for which
partial samples can be maintained in accordance with the sampling
procedure.
You can only edit the partial samples of this characteristic after you
have saved the results.

How to fix this error?

Save the current inspection results for the operation and then access
the function again.
