No specifications possible from batch classification- there is no batch

What causes this issue?

In certificate profile &V1&, it was intended to import data from the
batch classification for characteristic &V2&. However, no batch is
assigned to the delivery &V3& in item &V4&.

System Response

A selection of specification data is not possible for this
characteristic.

How to fix this error?

Select another origin for the specification data in the certificate
profile.
