Process &1 does not have instance selection parameter type assigned

What causes this issue?

The process has not been assigned an instance selection parameter. The
process inherits the instance selection parameter from the assigned
process template. Therefore, this means that the process has not been
assigned a process template yet.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Assign a process template to the process by using the Customizing
activity <DS:SIMG.PYC_D_PYPTE>Assign Process Templates to Processes</>.
