Kanban container is locked - replenishment will not be triggered

What causes this issue?

Kanban containers can be locked in the control cycle. Then it is not
possible to trigger replenishment for this kanban container. Instead,
the kanban container is set to the status WAIT.

How can this happen?

Kanban containers are locked if they are to be deleted or removed from
the control cycle or if they are not to be used for a certain period of
time.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
