Incorrect organizational unit for person & in period & - &

What causes this issue?

In infotype 1, person &V1& is assigned to an organizational unit which
differs from your assignment in the organizational structure. This is
only allowed if the integration between Personal Administration and
Organizational Management has been deactivated completely, or at least
for person &V1& in the period &V2& - &V3&. If integration is activated,
there must be an inconsistency in this case.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check whether the position also differs between infotype 1 and the
organizational structure. If the OM-PA integration is activated, the
organizational unit of the position is automatically transfered from
the organizational structure. If the position is also inconsistent,
this could be a reason for the inconsistent organizational unit.
Another reason could be that the person is marked in open processes. In
that case, execute the required PA actions in order to eliminate the
inconsistency.
If the departmental switch is altered while a program is running,
infotype 1 records are not adjusted immediately. If you have altered
this switch (PPABT PPABT in table T77S0), this could also be a reason
for the inconsistency. In that case, you can adjust the infotype 1
records using the report RHINTE30.
If the person is not marked in open processes and the departmental
switch has not been altered, correct the organizational assignment of
person &V1& either in infotype 1 or in the organizational structure in
the above mentioned period. You can also use report RHINTE30 or
RHINTE00 for this.
