What causes this issue?
The business partner number &V1& determined from the number range does
not have the required check digits. You are permitted to remove one or
two leading zeros and add one or two check digits simultaneously.
In this case, number &V1& was changed to &V2&, thereby breaking the
rule specified above. This defective processing was carried out by
function module &V3&.
System Response
Error message informing you that the business partner was not saved.
How to fix this error?
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
