Lock on IDoc type &1 failed. Deletion is not possible

What causes this issue?

You tried to delete the IDoc type &V1&.
The system therefore needs to lock this IDOC type. The lock on the IDOC
type failed.

System Response

The Deactivation of the CH settlement message structure failed.

How to fix this error?

Please contact your system administrator to remove the lock on the IDOC
type &V1& and repeat the deactivation.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
