Position cursor correctly

What causes this issue?

You want to execute a function for an object. You select the object by
positioning the cursor. However, the cursor is not on a valid object.

System Response

The system does not execute the function.

How to fix this error?

Position the cursor on an object valid for the function, or select
another function.
Valid objects are:
Hierarchy nodes
Values (individual values and intervals)
Master data (interval breakdown for CO groups)
Note that not every function is valid for every object.
