Dimension &1 contains InfoObjects and cannot be deleted

What causes this issue?

You are trying to delete a dimension that still contains InfoObjects.

System Response

The operation could not be applied to the InfoProvider.

How to fix this error?

Add new operations to the remodeling rule in order to delete all
characteristics included in the dimension you want to delete. Make sure
you place these operations before the Delete Dimension operation.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
