Trading contract &1: No association management possible

What causes this issue?

Association determination cannot be carried out for trading contract
&V&1.

System Response

A prerequisite for association management is that portfolio
determination is active in the trading contract type.
Trading contract &V1& has trading contract type &V2&. This trading
contract type does not contain a control type for portfolio
determination, so portfolio determination is not possible. As a result,
association determination is not possible either.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
