Production orders already exist for the material

What causes this issue?

You have changed the <LS>Batch management</> indicator, although
<DS:GLOS.production_order>production orders</> already exist for the
material.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

View the existing production orders for the material to make sure that
this does not cause problems.

How can this happen?

If a production order exists for the material, and if a batch is
specified in the production order, it is inconsistent to cancel the
<LS>Batch management</> indicator.
