This material is used as a pricing reference material itself

What causes this issue?

You want to assign a pricing reference material to the material &V1&.
However, this is not possible since other materials already use the
material &V1& as a pricing reference material. This would otherwise
result in chains of pricing reference materials.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can display a where-used list for this material by choosing
<LS>Environment</> -> <LS>List referring materials</>. Amongst other
things, this list tells you which materials use this material as a
pricing reference material.
