Correction of char. values of gen art. &1 and its variants recommended

What causes this issue?

Report R_CORR_GEN_ART_DEF_VAL has been executed in check mode and has
identified that generic article &V1& and its variants use
characteristics with default characteristic values. The use of default
characteristic values is not recommended for generic articles because it
can lead to data inconsistencies. Therefore, the inconsistent
characteristic values of the generic article and its variants need to be
corrected.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Execute the report R_CORR_GEN_ART_DEF_VAL again and make sure that the
Check Only (No Update) option is not selected.
