You have transferred only general fields and no single status fields

What causes this issue?

If you do not explicitly specify the user departments required, they
are determined on the basis of the fields transferred. However, no
<DS:GLOS.core_maintenance_status>core maintenance status</> could be
determined in this case since all of the fields transferred are
relevant to more than one user department.

System Response

All user departments are processed to which the fields belong.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How can this happen?

You create a material master record, specifying only the following
data:
Industry sector <LS>M</> (for mechanical engineering)
Material type <LS>ROH</> (for raw materials)
Material description
Base unit of measure
Material group
You create this material master record for the following user
departments:
Basic data
Purchasing
Storage
You do not enter data for the remaining user departments allowed for
material type ROH (which would have required you to specify an
organizational level such as a plant for material requirements planning
(MRP) data). As a result, your data is
relevant to more than one user department.
