What causes this issue?

The underlying customer enhancement contains data references that are
not character-like. For this reason, the system will not transfer the
data.

System Response

The processing of the ExtensionIn information has been terminated.

How to fix this error?

Check the definition of the customer enhancement.

Procedure for System Administrators

Transfer of the data from the BAPI structure ExtensionIn is only
possible if only character-like fields have been defined in the customer
enhancement.
