Enter an update type

What causes this issue?

You have not yet specified an update type for the matchcode ID.
The update type defines when the matchcode should be created. You must
define an update type for the definition of a matchcode ID.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Display the possible update types in the field <LS>Update type</> in
the matchcode ID maintenance screen by pressing F4 and select one of
the update types.
