Error when reading the employee's master cost center

What causes this issue?

Your data entry profile specifies that when an employee works for a
different cost center, an activity allocation is triggered between the
master cost center and the sender. The system cannot read the master
cost center, however.

How to fix this error?

Define a master cost center in the Organizational Assignment infotype
(0001).
