What causes this issue?

By splitting delivery &V1& item &V2&, you exceeded the allowed number of
partial deliveries (&V3&).

System Response

The system does not allow you to split this delivery.

How to fix this error?

Reduce the amount of deliveries that were created in this split.
or
Increase the number of deliveries allowed in the sales order that
delivery &V1& is based on (sales order &V4&).

Procedure for System Administrators

You can activate or deactivate a check of the number of partial
deliveries per delivery type and split profile in
<DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUOLSDOVDSP>Customizing</> for the subsequent delivery
split.
