Report &1 cannot be executed (form or field catalog)

What causes this issue?

After a certain change, report &V1& can no longer be used.
The definition of a report presupposes that at least one characteristic
can be selected. Certain table fields are classified as characteristics
in the field catalog. These characteristics can be used in both the
form and the report. If one of these characteristics is unequivocally
specified, it is no longer available for the characteristic selection
in the report.
The error scenario can have two causes:
RESET N1
If you are dealing with a form report, you have used a form in which
all the characteristics of the field catalog are used.
If you are using a basic report, it is due to the setting of the field
catalog that no characteristic can be selected.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If case 1) is true, change the form in such a way that at least one
characteristic is either not used at all or only as an interval.

If case 2) is true, change the field catalog in such a way that at
least one selectable characteristic is available. Get in touch with the
system administrator for this.
