What causes this issue?

The posting period is not valid.
A period version is assigned to the controlling area. The period you
have entered is not within the corresponding area.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Enter a valid posting period and restart accrual calculation.
