What causes this issue?

Company code &v1& contains several controlling areas. The system tries
to determine the controlling area from the combination of company code
and business area.
The combination of company code &v1& and business area &v2& is not,
however, assigned to any controlling area.

How to fix this error?

Maintain the assignment company code and controlling area
or enter a valid controlling area for company code &v1&
or select a different company code.
