No interest profile could be assigned to the account assignment object

What causes this issue?

No interest profile has been maintaine for the account assignment
object, nor could it inherit one from the hierarchy.

System Response

Basis values in this account assignment object do not contribute to the
interest calculation.

How to fix this error?

Maintain a valid interest profile in master data maintenance for the
account assignment object:
For WBS elements, under "Control"
For orders, under "Period-end closing"
