Session-based logon not possible; activate cookies in the browser

What causes this issue?

For a session-based logon, the session ID must be stored temporarily in
a cookie. The cookie is deleted before the application is launched.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Activate cookies in your Web browser.
