Wage type & is not permitted in the time sheet

What causes this issue?

The time sheet can only process bonus wage types for which you are
permitted to enter hours.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

In the Wage Type Characteristics table (T511), you must code the wage
type so that entering the number of hours is permitted. You can use the
following entry combinations:
Amount No./Unit Meaning
"." "." Amount optional, no./unit optional
"-" "-" Neither amount nor no./unit
