Head unit does not exist for personnel assignment

What causes this issue?

You want to create an employee's personnel assigment in an
organizational unit of your company. This is not possible because this
organizational unit is not assigned to a head unit.

System Response

The system cannot create the personnel assigment.

How to fix this error?

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administrators

Perform the following prerequisite steps:
Create an organizational structure.
Assign at least one legal entity to this structure.
In the Legal Properties (1655) infotype, set up one of the legal
entities in the structure as a head unit.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

INCLUDE INTDEV_RU_CE_LEGPROPINFTY OBJECT DOKU ID TX
Attach to this structure the organizational unit in which you want to
create the personnel assigment.
