What causes this issue?

Cutback tries to do a intercompany posting in company &V2& where a
project is required. This project should be derived from a mapping of
the original project &V1& in company &V3&. This mapping is missing.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?
