What causes this issue?
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
System Response
Item category for a referenced call-off item cannot be changed if the
contract item is already allocated.
How to fix this error?
Deallocate the contract item and then, you can change the item category
in the call-off.
