Status &1 does not exist for FM area &2

What causes this issue?

You want to use status &V1& for FM area &V2&. However, this status is
not defined for this FM area.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you want to use status &V1& for the FM area &V2&, maintain status
settings in Customizing or select another status.
