For first valuation area in a company code, Material Ledger needs to be
activated manually via transactions OMX2, OMX3 and OMX1.
Afterwards, it needs to be set productive via transaction CKMSTART.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
