Val.Area & for activ. Act.Cost Comp. Split only Price Determ. = 2 allowed

What causes this issue?

You try to set live Material Ledger Actual Costing e.g. via report
FCML4H_STARTUP or via transaction WB02. You also want to activate Actual
Cost Component Split, but there are already materials with price
determination control = 3,,(Single-/Multilevel) in valuation area &.

System Response

This application is currently not able to create Cost Component Split
data for Material Ledger Actual Costing.

How to fix this error?

Change the material price determination control to 2
("Transaction-Based") for all materials in this valuation area. To do
so, you can use transaction CKMM (Change Material Price Determination).
It will be possible to activate Material Ledger Actual Cost Component
Split, in case all materials in this valuation area have material price
determination control = 2 ("Transaction Based")

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
