Cannot change Profit Center when transaction data exists

What causes this issue?

You have attempted to change the profit center from &V1& to &V2&.
This is only allowed if there is no transaction data.

System Response

The profit center is not changed.


&HINT&
The profit center is derived from the cost center master data of the
employee responsible. The default profit center defined for the
controlling area is used if no profit center can be derived.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
