Posting rules have no joint interim account

What causes this issue?

You have defined a posting rule that does not post to a common interim
account.
Current posting area:
Debit: &v1&
Credit: &v2&
Corresponding posting area:
Debit: &v3&
Credit: &v4&
Since you have carried out Customizing for two posting areas, one debit
and one credit account from both areas should be the same.

System Response

The system posts to these accounts.

How to fix this error?

Change the posting rule so that the posting areas post to a common
interim account.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
