Amount & is too large for converting into words

What causes this issue?

Termination in function module SPELL_AMOUNT: the amount that was
supposed to converted into words is too large. This error should be
discovered by the application program.

How to fix this error?

Inform the developer of the program or (in the case of standard
programs) SAP.
