You do not have authorization for the Object Browser (SE80)

What causes this issue?

You are attempting to start a where-used list for a Workbench object
<(>,<)> but you do not have authorization for executing transaction SE80
(Object Nagivator).

System Response

The creation of the results for the where-used list is canceled.

How to fix this error?

In the results list, you can make source code visible in different ways.
In addition to the immediate display of a very limited area (for example
<(>,<)> a line of ABAP code)<(>,<)> it is also possible to expand this
section and view it in its context. From the results list in the
where-used list<(>,<)> you can also display or change a hit entry. In
this way<(>,<)> you can branch to the corresponding processing tool for
the Workbench object. Often<(>,<)> these tools have separate transaction
codes<(>,<)> but in many cases they can only be reached through the
Object Navigator SE80.
The authorization for executing transaction SE80 is therefore of central
importance in the assignment of developers' profiles.
For this reason<(>,<)> already before the where-used list is called
<(>,<)> the system checks whether your user profile contains the
authorization for starting the Object Navigator SE80.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
