Error & in asynchronous RFC. Automatic refresh option deactivated

What causes this issue?

An error occurred during the asynchronous Remote Function Call (RFC).
To prevent this error from re-occurring, automatic refreshing of the
tree display is deactivated.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
