What causes this issue?

This substance wildcard is only allowed within a development sample
material. Do not use this substance wildcard for final MDSs (compare
Production Part Approval Process/Initial Sample Inspection Report).

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
