What causes this issue?

You attempted to enter an advanced metering system in the device of
device category &V3&. However, this advanced metering system does not
originate from AMS determination group &V2&, which is defined in device
category &V3&.
The AMS in the device must originate from AMS determination group &V2&,
which is defined in the device category.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Enter an AMS from AMS determination group &V2&. Use the input help to
find all valid AMS for this device.

You define AMS determination groups in Customizing for <LS>SAP Utilities
</> under <LS>Advanced Metering Infrastructure -> Basic Settings ->
Define Advanced Meter Capabilities</>.
