Archiving batch record for batch &1, mat. &2, plant &3 is not permitted

What causes this issue?

For you to be able to archive a batch record, it must meet the
following status requirements:
It has been assigned system status <LS>Created</> or <LS>Partially
archived</>.
It has not been assigned a user status that prohibits archiving.
The batch record for batch &V1& of material &V2& in plant &V3& does not
meet these requirements.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

RESET N1
Check the system and user statuses of the batch record.
Change the user status if required.
