Table specifying which status values can be archived is empty

What causes this issue?

Initialization of the internal table which is used to check which
Intermediate Document status values can be archived failed. The
internal table is empty. Function group EDIA contains an error.

System Response

The archiving cannot decide which <DS:GlOS.IDoc>IDocs</> can be
archived; processsing is therefore not possible.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
