EDI: DOCTYP field in control record is invalid

What causes this issue?

The value of field DOCTYP &v1& in the control record is invalid. This
is neither a combined IDoc type nor a basic IDoc type.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Please create this basic IDoc type or use an existing basic or combined
IDoc type.
