What causes this issue?

The current extension &v1& does not contain any segments and therefore
cannot be used.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

First create segments in the extension. Then you can combine extension
&v1& with a basic type to form an IDoc type.
