Invalid cursor position

What causes this issue?

The function <LS>&v1&</> could not be carried out. To carry out the
function, the cursor must be positioned on a valid field. The current
cursor position is not valid for the selected function.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
